ORSKOREA recognized as a R&D type venture company
On January 26, 2022, ORS Korea acquired the R&D type venture company certification hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. The venture company certification is a certification that is awarded only through a rigorous screening process for the overall business and inside and outside the activities. Recently, ORSKOREA has introduced “Field test of technology for process to inner/outer wheel of ultra-high speed ball bearings for electric vehicle motors with combined grinding machine” through research and development. Through continuous R&D, we will do our best to promote Korea’s technological prowess to the world.
ORSKOREA Slogan Contest
Recently ORSKOREA held a slogan contest for employees. Five representative slogans with the meaning of “A good company having an energetic atmosphere that people are willing to work at”, the core values of the company, were selected. This competition is meaningful not only in rewarding employees, but in creating a more cooperative and positive atmosphere by drawing out employee’s thoughts and behaviors in accordance with the company values.
Employee Training for Improving Communication Skills
On Feb 11, 2022, Employee education training hosted by the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry was held at ORSKOREA. The training included understanding others to enhance communication skills. A Professional Consultant was invited as a host for the training. This training was designed to improve mutual communication skills. During the training, every employee participated in a team-game which was designed to help participants feel the value of collaboration and communication. We at ORSKOREA believe that communication plays a vital role in teamwork and good teamwork leads to great success.
ORSKOREA, selected as a partner company by Korea Institute of Industrial Technology
On January 28, 2022, ORSKOREA was selected as a partner company of the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology(KITECH). ‘Partner company’ system is the representative company support program of KITECH. As a partner company, ORSKOREA can receive professional R&D-based technical support from research institutes and exchange know-hows of technological innovation with relevant community members.

On may 9th, Federal Mogul İzmit Piston ve Pim Üretim Tesisleri A.Ş. members visited ORSKOREA for the SGC500K project.
The pre-acceptance test of the Centerless grinding m/c has finished successfully. We at ORSKOREA would like to share appreciation of everyone’s effort and support to lead this project successful.

Vektora visit
On May 11th, ORSBEARINGS and VEKTORA members have visited ORS Korea.
For the ORSKOREA’s future development, we are now preparing to apply the SAP enterprise resource management system that can efficiently manage entire business including processes in finance, human resources, manufacturing, supply chain and more.
This meeting was held for investigating the general environment of ORSKOREA which is the first step of applying SAP system in early stage. We at ORSKOREA would like to express our gratitude once again to those involved for a great performance during their visit.
Signed an agreement with Korea Maritime & Ocean University
On June 16th, ORSKOREA signed a agreement to train university students and promote cooperation with Korea Maritime & Ocean University(KMOU). ORSKOREA recognizes KMOU for their rich talent pool and enthusiastic undergraduate students, while the university recognizes ORSKOREA as a source of on-site job training and business know-how. ORSKOREA will keep seeking more of this kind of collaboration between local universities and industry to spread good influence to our community.
Employee Training for Better Teamwork
On July 1st, ORSKOREA prepared an employee training. The main topic was the ‘Value of Working Together’. This event was prepared by a well-known Korean hiker, Mr. Park Jeong-heon. Mr. Park survived after serious body injuries at the Himalayan mountains in 2005. However, after 7years, he finally made it to conquer the Himalayan mountain in 2012.
Mr. Park emphasized the value of cooperation, saying, “If I was alone, I would never have been able to overcome the great difficulties in my life. It was only possible because I was with my team .”
