Masan Free Trade Zone’s 50 th anniversary event
On November 20, 2020, Masan Free Trade Zone celebrated its 50 th year anniversary. At the event, ORSKOREA presented its High Frequency Spindles on display. The attendees include the Governor of Kyungnam and other government members. Also, representatives from various companies in Masan Free Trade Zone as well as other special guests was present. ORSKOREA and ORS Bearings will be attending as an exhibitor in the GrindTec 2020 in Messe Augsburg, Germany. At this event ORSKOREA will have a machine and various spindles on display. There will also be various high precision and unique bearings from ORS BEARINGS.
ORSKOREA’S meeting with Korea Bearing Industry Association.
ORSKOREA had a meeting with the Korea Bearing Industry Association. In this meeting the topic of the next machine project that ORSKOREA will be conducting was discussed and how the project will be approached. This project is funded by the Korea government to further advance the technology of Korea. The machine, which is an internal/external simultaneous grinding machine will reduce the cycle time and at the same time provide manufacturers with a quality finish product. The project is scheduled for this year and the machine will be completed by the end of 2020.

On the 6th, Changwon City (Mayor Seong-Mu Heo) held an honorary citizenship ceremony at the city hall reception room and presented a plaque and medal to ORSKOREA’s CEO Ahmet Aslan. He is the ninth honorary citizen of Changwon City as a whole and the fourth honorary citizen among foreigners. Ahmet Aslan, the CEO of Turkey’s ORS (located in Ankara, the capital of Turkey), Europe’s top precision bearing manufacturer, has a deep interest in contributing to regional economic development through foreign capital investment and promoting friendly cooperation between Changwon and Ankara in Turkey. We have cooperated in raising the status of Changwon City not only in the field but also in the field of diplomacy.

On December 6th, 2021, ORSKOREA visited KIMS(Korean Institute of Materials Science). At the meeting Ahmet Aslan, the CEO of ORSKOREA and Junghwan Lee, the president of KIMS discussed the possibility of the future joint project.

On December 15, 2021, Korea Bearing Industry Association celebrated its 4 th year anniversary of the group of people working in Bearing industry. In this event, KBIA(President Younghwan JIN) has awarded Ahmet ASLAN(the CEO of ORSKOREA) and Jho whoun SHIM(the managing director of ORSKOREA) for the consistent interest in developing the bearing industry and KBIA.
